Researched on psychological thriller's code and conventions to be able to learn how visual effects were applied to the film to classify as a psychological thriller. I researched common sound, shot types, editing style, lighting keys, costume and setting, which gives a general understanding to me about psychological thrillers, some conventions were applied to the coursework such as the smart dressing, venue inside the building, eerie music, shot types and editing sequences.
